Porn That Doesn't Suck: Rosie's Girl

Not long ago, I ordered a set of minicomix from [info]rvandeuren.* After some Paypal-based address confusion, the package finally arrived last week, and turned out to include an original color pin-up

I was blown away by its awesomeness. Once I peeled my jaw off the floor, I dashed to my scanner so I could show off my new possession to everybody on the internet.

ETA: I want to clarify something. My pleasure in this picture is not primarily political. It is aesthetic and sexual--I like it because I find it hot and beautiful, not because of what it may signify or represent.

Eh, deleted my comment because it wasn't all that nice. Suffice it to say I think that her torso should be a bit thicker to go with her legs. I love the *idea* of the piece, but I think her proportions don't match.

I am uneasy with critiques in this particular case. You are encouraged to go to town on my own fiction, or on random stuff I choose to review, but when I said "I just got a custom-made gift that I'm really excited about," I wasn't expecting 'here's why I don't like it' responses.

I just figured that the torso/thigh proportions meant that she has a fabulously broad ass. But I might be biased.

I see that trinityva thinks the proportions were off, but frankly, my first thought was, "wait, have I let anyone draw me?" That girl looks remarkably similar to what I see in the mirror every day. Being as how I don't see bodies like mine in a lot of art, period, I have to give this a hearty thumbs up.
